Job Responsibilities

Create, maintain, administer all databases (Oracle/SQL server/Mysq/Maria) Ensuring the availability
• Installation, configuration and upgrading of databases and related products
• Perform Databases maintenance, Optimization, and administration
• Implement, maintain, enforces database security including audit recommendations
• Install and test upgrades and patches on all databases
• Perform database Task automation and monitoring
• Provide Documentation and Reporting
• Provide technical support in the digital transformation plan
• Design Digital transformation initiatives and lead the implementation
• Develop performant SQL for use in a Power BI reporting environment
• Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases
• Create and Manage database replications from Primary to DR sites.
• Install and Perform administration for oracle Real Application Cluster, Dataguard and ASM
• Plan and implement backup and recovery of the Oracle/SQL server/Mysql/postgresql/Maria databases
• Provide technical support to application development teams and users accessing the DB.
• Act as the point of contact for OEM Support
• Administer database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views…
• Perform ongoing performance tuning of the database instances
• Set the data governance and retention processes and policies in collaboration with the Business Applications team to ensure the continued integrity of data sources used for core reports
• Pro-actively ensure database systems are maintained at the highest level of support in all production and non-production environments
• Participate in establishing processes, best practices, strategies, and database management solutions including development standards, backup/recovery, quality control, DR/failover, monitoring, maintenance, metric reporting, optimization, improvement, automation, etc

Job Requirement

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or IT
    • 5 Years’ experience of relevant skills in this field

Job Responsibilities

  • Improve NPS through employee engagement
    • Assists in OD budgeting and monitors annual staff administration programs OPEX.
    • Assists in section budgeting and monitors annual staff administration programs OPEX.
    • Coordinate all OD initiatives relating to culture, transformation, and customer centricity
    strategies (Regional Yellow Feedback and Team building program)
    • Coordinate with the Corporate team on Social Corporate responsibility
    /Community development activities initiatives to enhance staff participation
    • Coordinating Employee Engagement activities for better employee experience
    • Coordinate & follow up on staff participation into public activities social events, activities,
    initiatives, Digitizing of HR
    • Embedding of new strategy across the group (Refer Work. Culture and Capability – Ambition
    2025)
    • Ensure all group policies are localized and trained to the whole company/develop
    and review HR policies
    • Facilitate all HR internal and external audits conducted from time to time
    • Following up through on the Structured and Weekly staff engagements (Kigali and Regional)
    • Manage all the administration activities in the section accompanying the implementation
    of the OD initiatives
    • Manages employees’ complaints and ensures that there is a formal process for resolution
    • Prepares and submits quarterly activity report to the supervisor
    • To elaborate a weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports)
    • To follow-up the OD budget Per- department to avoid the overtaking.
    • To have good written and verbal communication skills, to absorb complex information and
    present it to different audiences in a clear and accessible way
    • Good organization skills, to track priorities, work to deadlines and manage projects
    • Budget monitoring

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HRM, Public Administration or related field.
  • Must have 4 years’ experience in HRM field and People management
  • 4 years’ experience in Policy Analysis and Development of Policies
  • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficient
